Group Counseling

There are many different types of Group Counseling! Support groups are helpful for people who share similar issues or struggles.  Support groups are typically led by one or two counselors and involve providing education and encouragement for developing or improving coping strategies, building confidence and a sense of community through sharing personal experiences, listening to others' experiences and providing emotional support.  Another type of group is a Process group.  A process group is one in which people from all different walks of  life come together and talk about, or "process" what is going on in their lives.

Group members must sign confidentiality agreements to respect others’ privacy and create a safe environment.
